Dear Internet Explorer 6 Users

Hello again, IE6 users.

It’s been a while since we talked. Maybe that’s because your web browser has decided that it doesn’t want to play nicely with my javascript. Instead, it’s intermittently displaying bizarre and unhelpful error messages before “aborting” my site (Microsoft’s choice of language, not mine).

Since y’all are something like 25% of my web traffic and include my parents, I’ll be looking into this when I have time.

In the meantime, upgrading to Internet Explorer 7 should help things.

That said, if you really want to see the site at its best — and this will be particularly true when I start posting my Top Albums of 2006 lists tomorrow (which will look like crap again in IE because I haven’t cared enough to tweak the stylesheet since they looked like crap last year) — you should go ahead and make the switch to Firefox, a vastly superior web browser.

Until then, I apologize for the annoyance.
