Dinged Migration
Success! Well, so far, anyways. I still have a lot of tweaking to do (mostly IE fixes and a whole mess of validation errors to wade through), but I’m officially up and running on ExpressionEngine.
Not that you’ll notice much of a difference. If anything, this might seem like a bit of a step back for now, as I’ve had to pare the site down a bit, just to get the basic things functional. But this is going to give me the flexibility to do some more interesting things with the site in the future. Anyhow, more on that later, if you even care. For now, I need to grab me some sleep.
Oh, this also means that you can leave ripples again.
RSS Note: If you subscribed long, long ago to the old WordPress RSS feed (not the Feedburner one), you’ll most likely need to resubscribe. Also, the comments feed is dead until I figure out how to make a new one.

Wooohooo!!! I’m number one…
...to leave a ripple on the new engine.
It feels good to be number one.

ExpressionEngine is, as the kids say, the shiz-nit.

Yeah, this is the third site I’ve done now with EE, and I love it.
I’ve been meaning to make the transition on this site for a few months now, but it wasn’t the simplest thing in the world. Actually, it was probably more challenging to recreate a site than it would have been to create a new one, but I knew that if I tried to migrate and redesign at the same time, I’d never end up doing either.
Oh, and congrats, timmer. We all need to be good at something, right?

Yeah...it was either this or origami.
Origami always gives me paper cuts.
