GUSTY WINDS AND PERIODS OF HEAVY SNOW CAN BE EXPECTED TODAY THROUGH FRIDAY. SNOW ACCUMULATIONS OF 10 TO 20 INCHES AT LAKE LEVEL WITH 2 TO 3 FEET ABOVE 7000 FEET ARE EXPECTED BY FRIDAY EVENING. WIND GUSTS TO 70 MPH ARE ALSO LIKELY OVER THE RIDGES AND PASSES WHICH WILL PRODUCE LOCAL BLIZZARD CONDITIONS.

MOTORISTS CAN EXPECT HAZARDOUS WINTER DRIVING CONDITIONS WITH POOR VISIBILITIES AND SLICK ROADS THROUGH FRIDAY EVENING. SLOW DOWN AND ALLOW EXTRA TIME WHEN TRAVELING. Hope you’re not like that guy we saw at the Arboretum today who just “forgot to turn” at a curve and slid off the road onto a bunch of snow covered leaves and was stuck in the snow.
