Seriously, it’s worth finding an RV and following it until this happens to you.
And if you can get it to coincide with the opening notes of Sigur Rós’ “Hoppípolla,” it makes the vast Pacific that much grander.

RV driver probably didn’t realize you were back there, in that stealth-black, silent new Prius… Either that or it was an early birthday present from the traffic gods. I believe this was one of the spots you took us to in ‘02, right? The photo looks a lot like one you took that’s now hanging on our wall. Beautiful. Thanks for sharing.
