Hopelessly Behind But Making Good Time
I’ve got a stack of albums that I’ve been meaning to write about, but I haven’t made the time to tackle them yet.
So instead, I’ll offer a few stellar pieces of music writing from the last week:
First, Jeffrey at Looking Closer has experienced The Arcade Fire and may never be the same. His concert review has made me regret like crazy that I didn’t try harder to get tickets to the San Francisco show this month.
Next, Jason at Opuszine has at long last experienced Sufjan. He offers us not only one of the best reviews from this tour, but a few video clips as well!
And finally, Andy at Razing the Bar can’t sleep, so he turns to Paul Simon’s greatest song to find solace. Yes, that’s right. Paul Simon’s greatest song. You’ll have to click over to his site to find out which one. Or subscribe to Paste. In fact, you should probably do both.
Great stuff. I’ll try not to let the standard they set keep me from doing a little music writing of my own this weekend.
