I’ve Got to Admit, I’m Getting Better. A Little Better All the Time.
First of all, thanks for the kind words and prayers this week. And even for your kind words about prayer this week.
I’m doing a little better. Earlier in the week, I hurt pretty much all the time. Now, that’s only true for part of the day. The rest of the day I only hurt when I make certain movements. And I’m getting more range of motion back. I can touch my chin to my chest now, for example.
I realize it’s my brains, his steel and your strength against sixty men, so perhaps a little chin jiggle shouldn’t make me happy. And as I told my friend yesterday, sometimes what I think is optimism just turns out to be narcotics.
But still, I’m on the mend. I hope to ease back into providing your regularly scheduled salmon soon enough.

Glad you’re feeling better. Keep taking drugs. Ah, and speaking of The Beatles, our church’s worship band played two songs by the fab four today. Good times.

But I love Zalm....that’s what that said. Guess your site didn’t want me to say that.

I don’t like salmon, or most fish for that matter. But I

Thanks. It’s mighty humble, this sweet site o’ mine.
Well, except for the parts where it isn’t. But those are usually my fault, not so much the site’s.
Even with the progress I’ve made, I’m probably going to need another week or so before I’m all healed. Maybe I’ll start posting again later in the week.
Now that the White Sox have clinched (woohoo!), I might actually have some time.

Oh, and I dug and still dig the Beatles quote/title. Showing my age I guess.

How’s it going on the healing? (That’s a funny question isn’t it? As if you can make yourself heal faster-- well maybe you can, but it’s still sort of a funny question). You must have gotten knocked around pretty good.
Still praying…

Thanks for checking up on me.
I’m doing better. My back still hurts, but it’s generally more like “I slept on my back funny” pain rather than “I was in an accident” pain. So that’s a definite improvement from a week ago.
I’m hoping to start writing again soon. We’ll see.
