Putting the New in New Year
The following things will be completely (or at least mostly) new for us at some point during 2008:
1. City
2. Apartment
3. Job
4. Church
5. Friends
Nothing’s official yet, and none of this is likely to happen until the summer.
But this is shaping up to be a doozy of a year.
More news later as conditions warrant....

We can trade prayers for each other! Looks to be similarly (but not quite as) doozylike over here.

Hey, so are you thinking about Oklahoma? Because then we could solve numbers one and five for you at the same time, maybe even two and four, but probably not a lot of help with three. Think about it… seriously. I am sure the transition would be smooth from a place like Berkeley to Oklahoma…

Well, number five is certainly awfully tempting. And I’d love to live in a place someday where we could not only afford a house but afford to have you work your magic on it. That said, I think it’s sadly unlikely that a state that continues to elect the Hon. James Inhofe is also a state that will have outstanding research programs in molecular biology. And that’s criteria numero uno at this point.
Would you settle for the same time zone?
