Quite Possibly, the World’s Perfect Food
According to Ray Comfort, bananas are ”the atheist’s nightmare.”
I’m not quite sure how to put this to you, Mr. Comfort, but if you’re going to try to convince anyone other than Kirk Cameron that we are God’s special creation and did not evolve from apes, perhaps the banana isn’t the best place to start.
Just trying to help.

Comfort & Cameron - they even sound like a great comedy double-act.

They have a good point with the eye, though.

Not only is the argument about the banana’s shape being an indisputable sign of God’s design ludicrous, but it also reveals an assumption that all of creation was specially created by God specifically for human use, which seems questionable at the very least, and dangerously exploitative at the worst. It reminds me of the farmer I met a few years ago who was convinced that God had created the soil of Illinois specifically for corns and soybeans and for nothing else.
