The Day Everything* Changed
I don’t really have time to say more than this:
I just wrote some code for a web site that I’m working on and uploaded it to my client’s webserver. From a coffee shop.
And now I’m posting this. From a coffee shop.
Yes, I realize that other people have been able to do this for like a decade or more. But I haven’t. Until now.
This makes me very, very happy.
* For very, very small definitions of the word “everything.”

As a proud part-time barista, I’m very happy to see the change.
Was that with or without whip?

As a former part-time barista, I hope you’re not doing it at sbux, what with their silly non-free wifi.
As a friend, I am wondering if the next time you come visit, you’ll ibook your tickets?
Wait, no. They don’t call it that anymore, do they? Oh well.

A bit off topic, but…
Are you gonna be posting anything music related for year’s end? Just curious. If not, I’ll stop hoping. =)

*sigh*
Realistically, no.
I’ve been working 10-12 hour days so that I can finish up a few projects before tomorrow. And we leave on Monday to go to Santa Fe for a week.
Maybe I’ll pull something off, but all signs currently point to “unlikely.”
I’m more disappointed than anyone else. This has been a pretty tremendous year for music, and I’ve been looking forward to sorting it all out. But the fact that I couldn’t even pull off a single review this year should’ve tipped me off.
Maybe in January. Well, mid-January.
Thanks for enjoying the past ones enough to ask, though.
